Every bride-to-be has their dream wedding- the one day that they can be a princess. Mayuri’s Floral Design, located in the Hudson Valley will transform your wedding dreams into reality. Mayuri specializes in the design and setup for Indian Fusion and South Asian weddings. Mayuri’s Floral Design has expertise in Hindu ceremonies and the usage of Mandap and Mehndi.
Can you imagine yourself in the loveliest wedding dress, your hair lavished with flowers galloping along in a green field, surrounded by fresh flowers on a beautiful white horse toward your prince charming? How many of us have had this scenario play over and over in our minds as the absolute dream wedding? Mayuri’s Floral Design was honored to have participated in this creation and was able to see this dream come true at one of our most recent unusual weddings of Norwegian & South Asian Fusion at Ashokan Dreams B&B in West Shokan, NY.
Now, usually it is expected for the groom to be dressed in his customary garb riding in towards his bride-to-be on his adorned horse and although the bride did put on Henna for tradition, for the most part she chose to be, well…a bit unconventional. I am sure you have already guessed it…YES…The bride arrived on a horse led by her father, dressed in his traditional Norwegian finest, fastened with genuine silver buttons.
The scenery was tranquil and as the bride arrived it took our breath away. The horse was as white as the bride’s dress and as she approached groom and the guest were overcome by the beauty of it all.
Mayuri’s Floral Design had the opportunity and pleasure to decorate the following locations where you can find that country or garden backdrop giving you a vintage-style setting in a beautifully peaceful open area or overlooking the Hudson River. The Benmarl Winery, Ashokan Dreams B&B, Brotherhood Winery & Red Maple Vineyard, Boscobel House & Gardens, Monteverde at Oldstone and the West Point Club at Hotel Thayer.
