Traditional With A Touch Of Bling

Let’s go back to Jennifer and Erick’s wedding at the majestic Falkirk Estate in Central Valley, NY. This couple wanted a traditional ceremony and reception that would honor them as a couple and include their family and loved ones in a special way.

The bouquet wrap was a unique touch of something old. The bride’s great-grandmother had a veil that was falling apart. She really wanted to wear something from her great-grandmother, and since the veil wasn’t usable in the form of a veil, we decided to add it as a wrap to the bouquet. The bouquet used Vendela creme roses, sangria-colored mini Gerber daisies, Bom orchids, Picasso mini calla lily, seeded eucalyptus, and white roses. It made for a magnificent arrangement to match the majestic and traditional nature of the wedding.

Traditional Bridal BouquetThe centerpieces were also designed to flow with the overall feeling of the wedding. We included two different types. The first type included a bling rhinestone wrap to match the wedding dress, with floating candles and crystal on the bottom. It definitely added a touch of sparkle! We then added a vase filled with hydrangea to add depth to the centerpiece. For the second type of centerpiece, the bride wanted to go tall to add color and height. The colors were impressive with sangria, pinkish purple, and green tones: mini green hydrangea, cool water roses, golem carnations, larkspur, dendrobium orchid, stock ad alstroemeria, seeded eucalyptus and lemon. This display was certainly majestic enough to match the environment and to add that extra touch of elegance to the reception.

No bridal party is complete without their own flowers. For the groom, groomsmen, and father of the bride, the boutonniere was the ever-classy Picasso lily. For the bridesmaids, we used a bouquet of cool water roses, stock, and mini-green hydrangea to pop against their navy-blue dresses. Of course, we couldn’t forget the bling! The wrap on the bouquets matched the theme and the centerpieces and provided one more touch of pizzazz.

As the beautifully-bedazzled bride walked down the aisle with her father, she was full of joy, and you could tell that the day was meant for traditions, happiness, family, and most of all love. We were so happy to be a part of their special day and to be able to add such splendor and warmth. The core of the party was always there, but the flowers added life to the theme. We wish them a sincere congratulations!
